Celti, Celtic, and more Celtic
I know we can't progress in Euro League like Bodo or Rangers if we aren't in it, but the years we were, there appeared to be a distinct lack of ambition.

Agree, Bodo Glimt showed this year what can be achieved with limited resources. I think our board base their ambitions on profit and finishing above our nearest domestic rivals, rather than the goal of European progress.

I seem to remember the board got twitchy as we were circa £25m in debt at the end of MON,s tenure, hence WGS and some cutting back on expenditure on salaries and transfer fees.

He was MOM vs Motherwell on Thursday when Calmac was also playing.

It's an injustice

Too much foreplay, no enough penetration, if you pardon the pun.

Based on his media comments, I don't think he's for changing any aspects of his philosophy, so don't see how any other team in that League aprt from Liverpoil would work for him

With his football philosophy, I don't see another Gig in that League working out.

No if you don't create any decent chances you can't.

I actually still have that on Vinyl, bought at the Barras back circa mid 1980s

Brilliant book. The part where he was playing dead in the back court was funny a.f.

Allegedly Fergus tried to back out of the deal with Motherwell to sign Phil as TB had acted out of his remit in agreeing the fee off his own back.

If I remember correctly, at that stage both were squad players at best, and went as probably weren't part of plans at Celtic.

When he started referring to David Murray as "Muz", that was feckin brutal.

Cheating bastard, get to fuck.

The original and the best. Mon the Malcontents.

That's an understatement

First time I saw them was as a support act at the Barras, along with Love and Money. I think it was supporting Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, but can't be certain.

A brilliant Album all round, especially for a debut. Steven Lindsay has a great voice.
