Barger for me is a fun one. Extrapolating stats out to 600 PAs is nearly a top 5 3B. Surely there will be some regression if given a full season of ABs but the batted ball stats are so fun. Curious to see how for real he is

Was literally just looking over his career stats and thinking about his HOF case - a couple more seasons half as decent as 2025 and Schwarber’s case starts to look similarly as strong as Stanton’s

Not saying Mets will land all 3, but seems reasonable to expect something involving Pivetta, Laureano, Miller to come to fruition

A deal with the Pads seems inevitable. Mets have a need for back end arms, SP2/3, and a guy who can run it down in left or center. Vientos seems expendable at this point and I’m sure Mets are willing to part with some other ML-ready prospects while Dads want to shed some $$

If hitting free agency a year ago we’d be talking about a nearly $100mil contract for him. Decent bargain if he can regain some form

BBWAA’s questionable voting record on 1B aside, I think he’s absolutely in if he retires today. Every 1B higher in JAWS is in, will get in, or has steroids ties. Many below are in. Same for overall fWAR

Great seeing the Fender and Courting love. Fender released two more new tracks today - both great. Courting will for sure be my “new” favorite band in 2024
