I was watching a livestream of President Biden awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award, to 19 recipients. Yet all many viewers could do was post nasty comments about them, Biden, each other.

They don’t make presidents like this anymore, leaders like this anymore, good humans like this anymore. Or maybe it just seems that good character doesn’t matter much anymore, given the lack of character of America’s next president.
