I'm sorry you were bullied, but songs are a core part of the Bard job and it's not an unreasonable expectation to have you use your songs during group play with other players. If you absolutely do not want to use songs ever, then the Duty Support and Trust options exist.

Jon is from Isghard. Brume rat born and raised. It's mostly the accent that gives him away, since they don't know about the Greystone surname outside of Foundation. He's got very mixed feelings about being Ishgard's prodigal son. On the one hand, change is good. But change is also bloody.

Afterwards? He still has nightmares about it. Either watching Zenos drive his body around and butcher the Scions, or he's somehow in there with Zenos and gets to see the betrayal and pain up close and personal.
Those are the nights where he stands on the balcony of his house and smokes all night.

Jon is originally from Ishgard. He got caught outside of the gates when they closed during the Calamity and he made his way to Gridania. And him coming back during HW was still a lot of outsider persecution because 'he wasn't here! He didn't understand!' And coming back home was rough for him.
