Applying this framework on five psychiatric disorders, we find evidence for sets of genetic effects within each psychiatric disorders and their comorbidities. Moreover, their shared genetic factors likely capture common confounders rather than disorder-specific effects.🧵4/n

Using information of millions of individuals both through meta-analyses based polygenic risk scores (PRS) and national register-based family genetic risk scores (FGRS) we investigate psychiatric disorders and comorbidities through the Coordinated Epistasis framework. 🧵2/n
