Honestly, the closest adaptation to the source material was the adaptation of the You Look Like Death miniseries as part of the final season. The final season kinda ruled...up til the last few episodes that made me LOATHE it. Such a bad ending.

Nah, the comic series isn't finished yet, and the show didn't really follow the same trajectory as the comics did, besides the time traveling Kennedy assassination thing from Dallas and changed a lot and really bastardized Apocalypse Suite. And Hotel Oblivion feels NOTHING like what was adapted.

I would also put forward King Kung Fu, Psycho Ape! and Psycho Ape 2, The Ape (which is a hilariously bad James Franco movie that he wrote, directed, and starred in), and the Troma classic Yeti: A Gay Love Story. Monsters Crash The Pajama Party Spook Show Spectacular is also good if you can find it.
