I am 69 and only know one person, a good friend who suffered terribly with late stage cancer and chose MAID when he found out he had weeks to live. His family called it a "good" death and has nothing but positive things to say about the process. The author of this article obviously does not approve

I agree. It was ridiculously negative. Mentioning people doing MAID because of financial issues due to their illness while not discussing the number of medical bankruptcies in the US. A good friend with late stage cancer recently used MAID & his family has nothing but good things to say about it.
