Prooobably could’ve just said “Jared used to be a grumpy loser but eventually opened up- he’s more confident and happy now” and “Sam is a very smart raccoon guy who does drag sometimes”. In my efforts to summarize but not give too much, I worry it maybe was still too much OTL

While very wordy, I tried to spare a lot of lore, backstories, and origin stuff that gets REAL detailed. Hopefully this gives a surface level impression of Sam and Jared- as well as those their existence kinda hinged on! Without Jake, there wouldn’t be any of them, for sure.

To cover bases, my last was the white tiger, Odoru. He represented open-mindedness, dreams, and romanticism. He had 2 other “selves” in his head that would hook up- and they’d swap out who was physically manifesting based on what tattoos were showing- it was a lot, haha~

And Sam! He was the 5th added a bit later. Like Jake, he was made to be a brother to me. He was originally a girl, but there was a “reveal” he was a guy. If I had to guess, he represented gender exploration for me haha~ He also had a samurai form?? And fire powers! And represented my “smarts” OTL

About Jared: he was a grouchy loner who didn’t get along with Jake, didn’t talk to Haley, but he had feelings for Gumi, and despite his shyness, her eagerness to be his friend got him to open up, and they became a couple eventually- he also used to wear a mask to cover his bat face!

Aw, thank you, sis~! I’d be happy to share more about them! They were made by a much younger, edgier me, so they were pretty dramatic back then (especially Jared’s origin), haha~ To not get TOO wordy, though, I had 6 imaginary friends. It started off as 4 which included Jake, Haley, Jared, and Gumi-

I have to return Matt’s serious eyes next time I draw him… they fit him so much better than the sweet eyes I gave him more recently! I was just thinking “he’s an arctic fox”, so I drew his eyes round and adorable, but without that serious look, it just doesn’t feel right!

I last drew them around 9 years ago.. it’s hard to imagine when I hyper focused on them most of my childhood! I was notorious for drawing Matt the most back then, as he was by far my absolute favorite OC. Still, they’re both very dear to me now~
