this is true. I try to do vegetarianism from time to time. It last for a few months and I fall off. But it is part of my ethica - namely Buddhist precept no. 1 - which is No Killing - many interpret to mean no killing animals for consumption. The cognitive dissonance is real.

I thought that all life was sacred in my first delves into Buddhism. I had basically a Jain diet. But I grew to be about 115 pounds when I tried to remain on this diet in India. Doc said eat meat or die. I've been kinda an omnivore ever since. I have vegetarian aspirations I try time to time.

She came to us on Valentine's day. Her adoption day is soon.
She had a flea collar too tightly around her neck, we took it off - thought she might have had an owner, had no chip at the vet and they said they'd release her back into the cold. So we kept her and she is an angel. 🪷
