My work took forever to change dead name/new name for a co-worker friend. When it finally happened, our area (different location from head office) had been using the correct name/pronouns for months. They came out with a new transition policy not long after, so no one else needs to go through that

Got my degree in early 2000's, came out with $13k loan. Lucky to be 30 so got student allowance too. So shocked to see my nieces loan amount for nursing was over $40k. And they wonder why they go overseas. Paying that off on a nurses wage is ridiculous and very sad
