I love my trees. I live in CT and not in a flood zone. The last 10 years I’ve planted 4 native red maples and a sugar maple 5ft in from my road. They are all growing happy and fast. My sugar maple is my FU tree. In my mind I can see it in 200 years; large and majestic and too expensive to cut down.

I’m sorry. Hopefully they will do the right thing. Nobody wants the chaos of hungry people and canceled flights, but I would like think we can donate and fund SNAP until it ends. The military is getting paid and I’m sorry for the rest of the federal employees that aren’t. Votes have consequences.
