For the 18th season in a row, including all 15 of its seasons in the Mountain West, Boise State has been selected to win its conference or division. The Broncos also had 10 players on the All-Conferece list, including preseason Offensive POY Maddux Madsen.

Boise State spent the last week focusing on it's defense after some late lapses cost it a couple games in recent weeks. That effort paid off Wednesday in a win against Nevada.
