Gas. Oil. Energy for cars. The liquified remains of dinosaurs that we put into combustible vehicles. Why aren’t you talking about all these things?

Much of that is hyperbole, but: China is a dictatorship that is accountable to no one and wants to crush America. There is no such thing as journalism in China. There is no truth except Pooh’s truth. No free speech. No due process. People disappear in China for the slightest critique. Not great.

TikTok may shut down here because, even if Trump said his DOJ wouldn't enforce the law, the penalties are INSANELY steep. It would easily bankrupt TikTok if Trump changed his mind, and it's legally unclear whether TikTok could argue that "Trump said it was okay" for previous conduct.

Very pro shutting TikTok down. The China connection is not acceptable. That said, to explain this: enforcement is up to the executive. It takes the DOJ to prosecute TikTok for not following the law so that it can face any repercussions. Biden is leaving it to Trump's DOJ. Makes sense given its 1 day

Very cool! Any developer who works off Adobe XD reference files should be shouting at Firefox all day long about getting this adopted. The text boxes in XD made pixel-pretty-close a mathematical puzzle involving font-height (half, if memory serves?) and neighboring columns paddings/margins. No more!

Replace Google with “the Internet.” You have to hand it to the marketing departments at OpenAI, NVIDIA, and the like for over-hyping this tech and jamming it down people’s throats. The good news is that the market will correct. This AI money is headed elsewhere, as companies realize its uselessness.
