Today we have seen little of that positivity translate into meaningful action.

Conor Murphy swapping control of a £1bn budget for a backbench Seanad seat is baffling. No Irish party sends their top people to the Seanad any more than British parties send their key people to the House of Lords. There are three possible explanations.
Murphy’s baffling decision to leave Stormont and head south could backfire badly for Sinn Fein
There are political manoeuvres which are obviously clever; ones which are obviously stupid; and ones which demonstrably are based on some hidden reasoning.

and @columeastwood.ie
is well placed to drive it.

Building upon well established relations, playing to @sdlp.bsky.social
strengths, we can reach people that others can’t.

A New Ireland cannot be delivered by one party alone.
"There is a real opportunity between now and the next set of elections to realign the debates on constitutional change between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic."

Absolutely delighted for the Brown family! There’s still a long way to go but they are back on the path again.

"Belfast is not in crisis" - John O'Dowd just now in the Assembly.

The Infrastructure Minister clearly hasn't been in the city centre over the past month to see the congestion crisis. He could reduce metro bus fares, as we proposed, as a start to help people.
