Thank you, I so enjoyed this article and trip down memory lane. My father was an Episcopal priest and my mother, a teacher. We had a month's holiday (camping in the West) and little money. Summer road trips, PBJs, long drives in a VW bug with a tent trailer, are the stuff of my childhood.
