I guess tear gassing women and children has lost its thrill. What a scumbag! The greatest of good riddances

ICE is a federal agency that is creating this “lawlessness”. So Trump’s solution is to federalize the Illinois National Guard to fix this “lawlessness”. The Constitution would like a word please!

I guess we’re all waiting for a Reichstag Fire event. It hasn’t happened yet but the smoke alarms have gone off

Kent State revisited on the southwest side of Chicago. History always has a way of repeating itself

The lower brass are always the coolest kids in band. Also the strongest from lugging those heavy instruments all the time. Only a fellow trombonist would know these things 😁

The Trump administration stops at nothing to do the worst things possible for the most vulnerable

I reluctantly used both earlier in the season. I’m in a community garden out in farmland. Plants being skeletonized everywhere. Much better now. Big fan of the use of beneficials. Used many when I was a greenhouse grower

In my experience, stress produces more reproductivity in plants. The plant senses death and puts lots of energy into reproducing itself. In a vegetable garden, yields are so important for all the work it takes. I’m rotating soapy water with a little neem occasionally. Flea beetles be damned!

In most cases, the majority of vouchers are issued to wealthy people whose children are already enrolled in private schools. This is short-circuiting public school funding where it’s needed the most, primarily in the south. Oklahoma is a case study of this

Destabilizing a nation of 92 million people, in the most volatile region in the world, could have many unforeseen consequences. The Iraq war started lots of trouble that still exists today. This could be immeasurably worse

MAGA in a lather about hearing the truth about Dear Leader. Absolute crickets about Mike Lee making fun of human tragedy. This tells you everything you want to know about them

I guess somebody told Trump that the abduction of the essential workers who provide our food is a really bad idea. This from a man who ran on lowering grocery prices. Brutal irony meets extreme stupidity

Another example of the extreme shortsightedness of Trump’s White House. Burning essential things to the ground to only realize later how important they were. Many examples of this idiocy from him

Osteospermum, also known as African daisy. A lot of great colors besides yellow. Blooming can slow down in the heat of the summer. A little shade during the hot part of the day helps. Deadheading essential for better performance. Love these!

Battle of the Wilderness, May 1864. After this battle, Lee realized Grant wasn’t retreating but would fight on. Lee knew the end was near.
