Great point and of course not - they don’t have any model - these cuts are all about disabling institutions and intimidating workers - there is no larger strategy. The 20 year olds doing this have likely never built an economic model with quantified and defensible assumptions

@rbreich.bsky.social isn’t lying- as a former Federal acquisition official who has examined in detail the “wall of receipts” data I can assure you that it is rife with inaccuracies - such as claiming the total value of a 5 year contract as “savings” when the first 4 years has already been spent/paid

He is only doing it to intimidate and scare people
