One of my favourite albums to have perfect side openers is U2's Unforgettable Fire with Side A being more anthemic with A Sort of Homecoming and Side B getting more moody with 4th of July

In both cases, while reviews were decent to solid, they weren't raves and in order for these kinds of films to do well theatrically, you got to be the best of the best

80s cheese at its most unhinged

That seems to be the new trend right now.

THE EDGE is also an underrated adventure thriller with an awesome Goldsmith score

Gertie's a beautiful name for your daughter(I'm assuming that's who you're refering to)

I'm saving reading any reviews on Pluribus until I watch the episodes for myself
November 7, 2025 at 4:53 AM
I'm so god damn hyped for this.

I greatly prefered this to MANK. I love how FIncher took the piss on every assassin movie cliche and turned it into a joke. I was fortunate enough to see this on the big screen and my audience lost it every time his alias changed from one 70s early 80s sitcom character to another

And on the same day Satan’s Colon kicked the bucket as well

Satan’s anus dying before he could see it happen makes it all the more enlightening

Finally some good news this year. I'm sure there will be more tonight

It also explains the Phil Collins backlash given how inescapable he was in the 80s between Genesis and him as a solo artist.

On the one hand, it was nice seeing this type of thriller on the big screen again. On the other hand, it should have been a lot better than it is. Bernthal and Stuhlbarg are especially wasted

I liked his work on Alien Nation and Ghost as well

I take it you were pulling for the Jays too. Can't lie and say I'm not disappointed but I prefer to focus on what they accomplished this season
November 2, 2025 at 6:51 AM
Congrats guys. As much as I was rooting for my Jays, Dodgers really came through.
November 2, 2025 at 6:49 AM
More than there should be.
November 2, 2025 at 4:19 AM
As long as it ends with a victory for the Jays.
November 2, 2025 at 4:04 AM
You can make a case for either of them being the most evi.
