This year, SAIS students traveled to Pennsylvania to bring the Battle of Gettysburg to life. Through first-person narratives, they stepped into the roles of historic figures and everyday people, exploring strategy, history, and the human cost of war.

Earlier this year, 16 students from the Johns Hopkins SAIS Conflict Management program traveled to the Philippines to study the South China Sea dispute up close. The trip showed how a nation defends its sovereignty in the gray zone.
