A friend suggested that as I enter into this whole heart surgery recovery that it would be a good time to journal to describe the events and my feelings around them. I started it today before my memory fades!

On a beautiful spring day in Wenatchee the people gathered to express their displeasure over the reign of Donnie Dictator and his clown prince Elon Musk! This will be my last protest until I recover from my upcoming heart surgery.

This is Kellan and he’s now 8 months old. He’s my grandson! And on Thursday I get to see the not so little kid. What a gift to me before my heart surgery on April 18, Good Friday.

Met with my surgeon today. My aortic valve is in need of replacement so on April 17 I will undergo heart valve replacement surgery, for this they have to crack my chest. Thoughts, meditations and prayers are welcome!
