True. And it's also true that when publishers make money from stuff like that, it allows them more funds to take risky bets on lesser known authors. It's not like they have a fixed amount of $ to spend. If they make more on "drivel" they have more.

It made me wonder how much of education should be about what to think vs how to think. Especially for young people but also for adults.
You do continue your education as an adult don't you?
Are you learning how to think differently as you mature?
