I marched as part of the "NO KINGS" rally (est. between 3-4K) this past Saturday. I saw smiles, drivers honking & giving 👍. Fellow marchers chatting, laughing, praying - giving support to each other.
What I didn't see was HATE, ANGER or VIOLENCE of any type.
Just concern for fellow Americans. 🥰

When this "reign of terror" has passed away - & I have to believe that it will - it will be interesting to watch all the administration officials, senators, etc who will write books revealing all the corruption, incompetence and madness that went on. It will not excuse them from responsibility!

"Caring about others" used to be a sign of maturity, empathy and even citizenship. Now, to many it is seen as a sign of weakness - of being "woke".
Somehow, someway we need to get back to caring for others or we'll never recover from this.

This is the Oath of Enlistment. I've recited it 7 times &, as an AF Recruiter, have witnessed my recruits recite it 100's of times. I was always sure to explain that "orders" means LAWFUL orders only & the DUTY to NOT OBEY UNLAWFUL ONES. All members are taught this in basic training.

This evening I attended the "Good trouble lives on" rally at Penn's Square in downtown Lancaster, PA. The event was hosted by the Black Voter Outreach Network, along with Indivisible, Lancaster Stands Up and other groups. A nice turnout, beautiful singing and a great message!

Proudly attended another PROTEST EVENT in downtown Lancaster, PA. Great speakers & great music! I'd guess around 1,200 attended.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone (like me!) who's often wondered "How in the HELL did we get in this SHITTY MESS?".
They "Rural/Urban" divide, the role played by evangelicals, neglect by BOTH parties all addressed in a READABLE, THOUGHTFUL manner.
Probably available at your local library!😀
