Eg young people not knowing key short-cuts (alt-tab and ctrl-tab etc). I think there’s a flaw in IT teaching.
Perhaps because we oldies perceive IT as “other” we explore it more and learn its boundaries?
Lack of organisation of thought/expression is cultural, and much better taught by the French.

At age 64 I have recently finished a full-time face-to-face arts degree (languages) and I saw a lot of this in young students.
Their status as digital natives aligns more to devices, social media and fluid interfaces with computers than appreciation of organisation or effective use of programs.

On most things I have used AI for it has shown deceptive fluency in some elements and gaping errors of fact and logic in others.

As docs more closely involved in breast cancer have pointed out elsewhere, both the concept of micro metastasis at diagnosis of early breast cancer, and the use of adjuvant therapy date from the 70s and 80s. Stoppard might have changed Baum’s ideas, but others may have already been there.
