Did you get a card like this in your mail? Did you get a grocery bag with a #StampOutHunger logo on it in the mail?

That means letter carriers in you area are participating in our Nation's largest annual food drive put on by @lettercarriers.bsky.social. /1

Tell us you don't when Veteran's Day is without saying you don't know.

I made this kit guitar during the pandemic. Never got to play it much, but the build was fun. It's not that colorful up close, more of a dark blue. It's part of a photo a day challenge for the American Cancer Society. Unfortunately, I only have a FB fundraiser link.

A PFLAG local to the region I live in is raising money Apr 15 via Panda Express. I'm not a member, but I do go out of my way to publicize their events. I live in a Blue Dot Red State region & was hoping fellow BlueSkyers would send some love. The code is good anywhere there is a location. @pflag.org

It's election day here in FL-CD1 and in FL-CD6 - do not hesitate to go out and vote for freedom and Democracy.

Making a choice between two candidates is a sacred duty. Go vote today. In my District, I chose @gayforcongress.bsky.social

It's voting day for the Florida Special Congressional Elections.

If you are a FL-CD1 or a FL-CD6 voter, don't forget to go out and today! In FL-CD1, Dems have been voting at twice the rate of Republicans as a demo but it's not enough. If we get that rate up high enough, we can win. #DCFL

I just wanted to thank Sandy of Los Angeles CA for taking the time to write me and my family a postcard enjoining us to vote for Gay Valimont. I really appreciate the time and effort you took to help #GOTV #FL-CD1

Republicans are cutting school food programs, local farmer subsidies that help our Nation's farmers and food banks and now looking at up to $880 billion in Medicare / Medicaid and other healthcare cuts. Programs like these provide community stability. /1

With all this talk about empathy being a bad thing, how long it will be before the Preamble to the Constitution is declared too "woke?"

Justice, Common Defense, Tranquility, Promote the General Welfare, Secure the Blessings of Liberty - what in the world were our Founders thinking?

That way, when they're ready, when they see an opportunity, they are ready to lead and potentially decide to take up the mantle of candidate and take a run for office /8

They've also started a group Women Supporting Women for our area.

It's critical adults to let budding activists know we support them, so that when they're ready to escalate.. shatter ceilings they will so with strength and authority

Give them a shoutout today! /7

As you can imagine, their efforts have resulted in both warmth and pushback, but they are defiant /6

So I wanted to give these two young women, a shout out, these two young ladies who founded the Panhandle's Women's Project (they're in front in white).

They're only on Facebook at the time. If you're there, give them a shoutout, love and support. /5

I have eight nieces, three sister sisters-in-laws, three daughters. "adopted" nieces & a bevy of female friends. And I know how unsupported younger generations must have felt as we adults couldn't stop tragedies in our schools, as human rights eroded and the pandemic ran roughshod over our nation /4

Fortunately, by the time was passed them, they had only just started marching. My daughter and I didn't have a place to pull over on their route, so we drove a few blocks up, I parked and we ran and hustled to get photos /3
March 9, 2025 at 6:16 PM
So my daughter and I grabbed a couple of cameras and took off. It was already past the meeting time of the march and I was worried I missed it. /2

I live in Niceville, Fl. It's a GOP town, votes red, but I generally know what's going on in my area. My wife woke me yesterday and told me there was an International Women's March in Niceville & it was organized by high school juniors.

I bet you can get some great photos if you leave now. /1

There are two special Congressional elections in Florida going on right now, the Gay Valimont and Josh Weil Campaigns and one in NY by Blake Gendebien standing up.

These campaigns need as much support as we can give them.

From what I hear there's a current residency at a place for ignorant electric car execs named Elon.
