Nathan Gill, former Brexit MEP and Reform leader in Wales was sentenced to 10.5 years today for accepting bribes from Russia.

Nigel Farage was leader of the Brexit Party and is leader of Reform. New him well apparently.

Well that's interesting.

When you get a reference like this from Epstein, and given how low the bar is, it really says something.

Sounds about right

All those immigrants coming over here and stealing our dictionaries.

Russia is to Farage as Epstein is to Trump

Well who do we think might be behind this? It is just how brazen it is that astonishes me.

Despite some misgivings, this is the best reason yet for having digital ID

Does anybody know why Europeans are not visiting the USA in the numbers they did before? Significant loss of income to the US. Can't imagine why.

As this is Tory conference week, it is worth recalling what their two favourite former leaders had to say about Europe and the single market.

Nathan Gill (Reform) admitted eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements he made in the European parliament.

Reform would like you to think there is no link to Farage, but here he is out campaigning with Gill. Time to expose Farage's links to Russia.

Nathan Gill has pleaded guilty to taking bribes from Russia to make pro Russian statements.

Richard Tice - Deputy Leader of Reform: I have never met Nathan Gill and he has nothing to do with Reform.

Well ok then…

When the BBC made this appointment it was not by accident. You can see the shift in news reporting since it was made. BBC News is now GB News lite

Reform. They will tell you one thing then do something else.

This is why grammar is so important.

Angela Rayner did the right thing standing down. But the rank hypocrisy of some of those criticising her just stinks.

Farage's tax affairs and property portfolio needs close scrutiny. And what about the rest of these.....

These are the same people that want Burka's to be banned because people should not cover their face.

They haven't thought this through.

Pete Buttigieg has a point

This was never intended to be an instruction manual for the 2020's but it sure has similarities in the US (MAGA) and UK (Reform).

I remember when Trump visited Scotland (Turnberry) before and received this welcome. The brilliant Janey Godley (RIP). I wonder how he will be received this time.

This is what you can get when 36.32% of the population don't vote. This is what happens when people say "they are all as bad as each other". Not voting has consequences.

Letter in The Times today. He has a point you know.
June 30, 2025 at 1:03 PM
This is known to all MPs (and media). Let's see how many choose to ignore this in the debate today and on social media.
January 8, 2025 at 10:04 AM
Well this pretty much sums up Brexit. How much longer until a party has the guts to put rejoining the single market as a manifesto commitment

The death of Jimmy Carter just reinforces how far the US has fallen in its election of Trump as President - twice. You can disagree with Carter's politics, but his decency, humanity, respect for others made him a fine ambassador for the US. I can make none of those points for Trump.
