Just encountered a terrifying gas leak right at the pin in Toronto. Couldn’t believe the sound of the gas screaming from the pipe. Firefighter yelled at me to get back but it didn’t seem like anyone was trying to cap it. There is a daycare next door and apparently it’s been going since the afternoon

Conditions are wet but a rink is ready

Growing up out west I used to mock Toronto’s flatness as a city but now I love the way every little bit of topography stands out. Walking home last night I noticed the string of streetlights stretching into the distance describing the peak of a small hill.
