She overplayed her hand. These issues go way beyond MAGA machismo - the alpha male pack leaders' "privileges." This is why Trump desperately fears those Epstein files: There is a tipping point, a ceiling, and he knows it.

You are correct. But it's not about *morality* per se. It's about *group identity.* Thus, the question is, "does this morality threaten our alt-right identity, worldview, etc?" Going deeper, it's about power, control, authoritarianism. I wrote a Substack on "Fundamentalism." Your post augments it.

According to many media outlets, AU's gun buy-back was very successful. Costly though, and risks inflated pay-outs.. like buying a "junk" gun from a pawn shop and turning it in for a big pay-out.

Living in Vermont, the main river bridges for autos were covered bridges. There were four such wooden bridges close to my home.

In the MAGA mindset there are "Fundy" and non-"Fundy" clergy. In their thinking, the non-"Fundy" ones are evil="liberal." This all formally started in 1979 and has gotten increasingly defiled since then - hence that photo. IMO, more "pure" Evangelicals, like Billy Graham, wouldn't have liked this.

My dad was a WW-II Navy vet also. My uncle, whom I've never met, died in the Navy in action WW-ii. Our son, a former Green Beret, got out before the SHTF.
