I was at the United Nations in NYC over the last week and was a little shocked to see these for sale in their gift shop. Especially when the featured products from other countries were beautiful and high quality and we have these stereotypical images that were like made in China.

Had the pleasure of helping Maika Harper update her headshots last year. Now you can watch her on North of North on Netflix! #Inuk #Actor #Headshots #NorthOfNorth

It’s wild to me that this thing in Penetang has been up for a couple years and still has no Anishinaabemowin translation but has Michif?!?

Photographed Nêhiyaw author David A. Robertson (@davidarobertson.bsky.social) for Swift Water Books, a new imprint at Tundra Book Group. This new imprint will focus on publishing works by Indigenous writers and illustrators. Exciting news!

I cannot recommend taking The Canadian across Canada more! I had such a great time disconnecting from work, social media, the outside world and just relaxing on the train, socializing with new people, and seeing the amazing views that Canada has to offer!

I reached out to the gallery via email with an unsurprising response about public photography laws, trying to now get names of dancers, exhibitions are expensive to put on, and they are no longer selling the prints but no actual apology to the harm caused to the community. #Indigenous #appropriation

Last weekend I travelled to Montreal for work and photographed the Native Montreal float in the Pride Parade. It was a beautiful and fun day with everyone.
