The Eagle is a classic, but it definitely falls into the class of being a good work-a-day vehicle, rather than a top space cruiser. It's basically a space fork lift

I feel similar. I keep seeing about 'entry level jobs being eliminated' but in many areas that's where you learn the job. Training would need to improve to compensate, and UK business has a bit of a mixed record in providing good training imo

I feel for you, it's been a while but I remember the constant rejections, and worse when your application isn't even acknowledged. It's pretty soul destroying. Just stay as positive as you can, can be hard I know. Good luck to you, hope things look up
