Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Still finishing up the Valaverse mystery box. Here's Sidewinder. Per his file card, he's a bodyguard and field medic. There's not enough medics in these military groups, so that's cool. Also dig all the stuff he comes with, as usual with Action Force.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Still going through the Valaverse mystery box. Here's the Ghost Operative. Pretty normal for an Action Force troop builder, but that means quite good. Extra hands, heads, lots of other accessories.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Usagi Yojimbo, part 2. Despite him being a simple figure he's got some great options. Several weapons, hands, and even a clothgoods cloak. Really dig him...well worth the price.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Usagi YoJimbo. Always been a bit of a fan, loved the look...but only read a couple of comics. Was at a 'local' store that sell figs and such, so picked this up. Love all the options he comes with.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: And now for something completely different. Bought this on a whim (and because I have a couple giant gorilla's to pose with it). It's amusing, but not a great figure. Articulation is meh, hands are very meh...but it's a banana with a banana hammer.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Here's Night Ops Senshi from Action Force. I like everything but his head. Not a fan of the face paint. It's not terrible, but breaks up the details of the face in all the wrong ways. Still a good fig.

Went back and repainted all those and it came out pretty well overall! 2/2

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Doom finale (for now): My first paint on the head did not match well, so I started working on the whole figure...but didn't prime it. Wash didn't dry well, so I had to repaint all the metal areas. 1/2

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Ah yes, poor choices by Hasbro. Since Doom's head is not complete, I have to fix it. I cut down the peg a bit. Then add putty and shape. Finally I sand it to close enough.

Also, you note the jets on his back...which you cannot reach with the damn plastic cloak. Even has effects for them. The yellow thrust effects...f-ing Hasbro.

Since i've been futzing with action figures most of the day. I grabbed Killmonger and added some accessories so he can fit in the Joes and Action Force figures.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: I like this Dr Doom. Not top tier, but solid. Holds the books ok, gun is ok, effects are ok. But you know what would make him better? A cloth cloak, so I ordered one. Let's say making it work became...interesting.

Well, that works. His stuff comes off and all the desert gear fits pretty well. And I can use his sword for the other fig, pending possible replacement.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the day: Marvel Legends Doctor Doom. Buckle up, this one's going to take a bit. Love that he's got alternate hands, some spellbooks, and some effect bits. Plastic cape is a bit of a minus. Looks ok, but hard to pose since it's so heavy.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: More with Slice. Another what Classified should be. 2 extra pairs of hands, extra head, removeable hat and cloak, 3 sets of weapons and more. So much you can do with just him. Well worth the two pack!

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: Slice and Dice. A Cobra two-pack that is quite good. All the accessories you want. Ninja Force wasn't the most popular era of G.I. Joe, but some of these redesigns are great. Slice has slightly more options, so he's first.

Action Figure Pic(s) of the Day: R.U.M.B.L.R. part 4. Here's the two weapon options. Minigun and missile launcher. Both are cool. I really like the effects parts for the missile launcher. I wish the minigun also came with an effect, but i'm sure I can find something to use with it!
