I’ve done a lot of community theater, and a handful or two of low level professional, and I’m convinced that the whole Macbeth thing is a base rate fallacy.
There have been shows where nothing major went wrong, I’m sure, but I can’t think of any at the moment.

It’s absolutely insane. I took my 1500% gain and got out when Elon said “we’re canceling the cheap car and pivoting to AI”. Surely, I thought, the institutional investors will sell this shit before it’s too late. It’s up a factor of 3 since then. 🤪

In the mid-70’s, I was a teen wondering about it. Then a book called The Bermuda Triangle Mystery: Solved came out, by a librarian (Lawrence Kusch). All he did was look up original sources. Turns out “Without a trace” often meant “witnesses saw a fireball and rescuers found a huge oil slick".

This is very cool, even if I still don’t fully understand the matrix inversion that runs the deformable mirror, but I have a side question about who you have to notify. I assume the observing plan eventually makes it into a NOTAM, but how?

Steven Page’s words are perilously close to no longer being recent:
I never thought that words like “product"
Could ever leave my lips.
But something happened to me somewhere
That made me lose my grip.

Nobody is “owed” a vote, dipshit. You vote for the best option available. You may think you’re being all principled by not voting, but all you’re really saying is you don’t give a fuck about anybody else.
