Political objectivist. Discourse is only mostly dead, which means it’s slightly alive. If you want to ably resist, I’ll teach you, but you have to talk to MAGA faithful on the Xitter. You’ll find me there, #resisting (the urge to assault people).
I’ve been no saying this for decades.

And yes, I realize the video title is quite optimistic, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable, either.

While things may look rough coming from an election 2024 POV, the new candidates MAGA is inspiring to run make me more optimistic for the next 12-20 years.

As more and more Epstein stuff comes out, Florida’s Christians will lose enthusiasm or look for a better candidate than anyone aligned with Trump. This increases our chances some, especially if we push the alignment of the GOP with Trump. Maybe even put it in play (I have hopes).

People come out for progressives. The lack of enthusiasm for Dems is because of how little fight and conviction the Schumers and other establishment Dems have.

We’re tired of watching Dems getting pulled so far right there is no longer a left.

And there you go completely missing the point again.

Mayor of NY is unimportant, what won the race was policy and communication, not money and connections. And that’s the lesson for the establishment party.

Perhaps consider this.

A circulating theory: Did Senate Dems do this to retaliate against Mamdani's win?

I think we did gain ground in what MAGA is aware of in just how deeply They’re getting f’d over, and the coming ACA hikes and Medicare/Medicaid cuts will reinforce it, but we could have won so much more.

The definition of insanity is electing the same people and expecting different results.

It’s not in the victory, it’s in the margins. Cuomo being in the race complicates it, but there’s excitement for Mamdani, spanberger and Sherrill won by expected margins given the political climate, I.e. a couple points plus the Anti Nazi swing.

Your brain must be toasted.

That is an open faced lie.

You might be say they’ve reached a crossroads.
