He can only pardon *federal* charges; state charges of assault, robbery, kidnapping, and terrorism are on the table and likely to stick...if we can ID. Documenting the crime is good, but where possible (and safe) get quality pictures of their ears, they're useful for biometric ID.

Yeah, the trouble with that is that there is literally *nothing* they'll accept as definitive proof of citizenship. "Motivated Reasoning" at work.

As long as they're not the mobsters running the show over there I'm sympathetic with their desire to GTFO of there.

You know, the kind of all with the height markers on it for the background to mugshots. Of course.
November 16, 2025 at 8:46 PM
That's the awful thing: they could, but their voters chose this.

Yeah, the second one is less commonly legal; hence why "brandishing"is a crime so many places.

He'll tell them he's only taking them away from [insert scapegoat of the week here]. "You're not one of those, right? So you have nothing to worry about, and only traitors will object."

By "a genius" they mean "he had money".

Mace is crazy 'oppositional defiant' and also seems to have made this issue personal.
And MTG has made this exact thing her entire identity even before she was elected, so...
I think it's more likely he'll carrot-and-stick a weak dem.
We've seen the caliber of their resolve.
November 12, 2025 at 9:00 PM
She's a psychopath, sure... but that time she cried walking out of a hearing makes me think it's personal for her now. Her vindictive compulsion is actually aimed towards justice for once.

Because everything that comes out about the files makes him look worse, and LEOs have said 'on background' that "however bad you think it is, it's worse than that"... and the petition could release *all of it*.

I was gonna say "Oh, but she hates 'the swamp', she's said so herself, lol" but then I remembered "hate is an *attracting* force".

I can already picture them saying "but we had a deal!" And "don't blame us, we didn't break the deal".

No, the GOP's faith is indomitable, it's just that they worship money, not God.

"It wasn't Musk's policy"
It wasn't the policy of the head of DOGE, who embezzled the funds? It "wasn't the policy" of the guy who announced it by saying he "spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper"?

"Dershowitz, who said he opposes Mamdani, added that he prefers doing so with his "brains intact"."
I'm pretty sure that ship sailed, but ok.

Range of tiny flamethrower: 3 meters, less if angled up.
Range of rocks dropped onto flamethrower by flying rat bastard: unlimited. 🙃

And I love that for him.

Blocking enough sunlight would 'treat the symptom', but he's not smart enough to understand the scale of what he's proposing. It's comically unfeasible, and the industry involved would generate so much Co2 , it'd be worse in the end.

Can't the pro-release group just all show up for session and pass a motion to have the clerk swear in the newest member-elect, then pass the discharge petition?
November 3, 2025 at 1:40 PM
Wow, with all the awful news in the world, I hadn't heard that great news! Thank you, that very hopeful!
