CO-SIGN! This film made me smile, laugh, bawl my eyes out. Who knew there was a little De Niro in Tim Key?!
Have been hearing great things about this one from all over… and it all proved true.

Make sure to catch on the big screen while it’s out - this is the real deal: hilarious, heartbreaking, and probably other positive words beginning with ‘h’ too.

Breaks my heart to see America get turned into more of a hell-pit each day. Can’t imagine what it’s like to be living there right now.

But wondering: why are there seemingly no mass marches/ protests being organised?

Just woke my dad up by ringing him. When I apologised and told him to go back to sleep, he said he hadn’t been asleep. The man was practically still dreaming and, once again, couldn’t admit it. What is this phenomenon? People, sleeping is not a weakness!

How did I only discover this week that Martin Short does a pretty damn good David Lynch impression?

The children in my class wrote letters to their future selves this week. These two in particular made my heart melt 🩷

Finished this book today, about two people who sit next to each other on a train, only to realise they are exes from 30 yrs earlier. An astute and philosophical observation on time passing, emotions still raw after decades, the turning of tables. Loved it.

Reached the stage in life where I think I’m watching a film for the first time, but I’ve actually already seen it and forgotten. Thank f*** for Letterboxd.

A beautiful cover/tribute to one of the most important artists of our time. So pleased to have played a small part in it by sharing an in-conversation with @bethwebb.bsky.social @iana.bsky.social and @leilalatif.bsky.social about his depiction of women onscreen.

Co-sign this. Ever since I watched Wolf Man, which had me looking at the time every 20 mins, I’ve been wanting to revisit The Fly. Almost 40 yrs later, it did not disappoint. Just never give me a ring doughnut again.
After the somewhat anaemic Wolf Man, revisited The Fly last night for a creature-transformation thriller done right.

The goop is still awesomely awful. The Goldblum/ Davis chemistry crackles. And that poor baboon…
