Nor is there any real purpose of the “ Blue Ice” these days. It seems to be a target area rather than a zone to give attention to a goalie who is heavily padded, and relatively quite a bit less mobile than the skaters. The NHL needs to show more respect towards the vulnerable goalie 🥅

It seems the “ officiating fraternity “ finds it tough to contradict the on field call. The review process, to me, is needed but it should be no more than 1 minute as beyond that it’s too close to call,so no reversal. The CFL is exciting and must stay dynamic. Als, be proud🍁🏈🍁

Good points Jack. It’s disheartening as a Habs fan, and a hockey fan in general, to see a blowout. I recall, “ years ago”, the Leafs beat up on the Oilers 10-0 and that season the Oilers eventually won the Stanley Cup. So, one game does not indicate the overall team abilities; here’s hoping…🥅
