Gone too soon-- Kevin Shanahan. Long time guitarist with Tail Dragger, also played with AC Reed, Brenda Taylor, and many others. A sweet person, very intelligent and really talented on guitar. I'll miss you Kevin.

The Banana Peel in the small town Ruiselede, Belgium, is a communally run not for profit blues club since 1966. Eddie Boyd, Sunnyland Slim are some of the early performers. A local artist hangs these portraits in the dressing room, I was gifted a copy. It's a wonderful venue!

There are about half a dozen spots left in this limited registration annual workshop. It's a great time with some great instructors taking deep dives into the music of Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, a student performance and critique, and a chance to record. See chicagobluesworkshop.info for more info.
