I’m not only disappointed, I’m infuriated. His cowardice and abdication of his responsibility as minority leader is walking the country directly into the mouth of a volcano for the dumbest reason I’ve ever heard. He needs to do his job, otherwise, get out of the way.

It’s a very convenient way to navigate politics. You can never be wrong if you can write off any and all expert opinions as corrupt or part of a grand conspiracy. And then when one “expert” out of 100 confirms your bias you can leverage that!
