What I find most insidious about Christian Nationalism is how it takes seemingly well-meaning Christians and perverts them into trading away God for political power. Consider the 3rd tempting of Jesus by Satan. His refusal should be our example and drive us to repentance.

So I voted again for the 2nd time in < 2 weeks. It would have made too much sense to have the primary for the VA-11 special election on the same day as the one for the gubernatorial. And of course it wasn't at my usual polling location. GOP to Ffx HS. Locations for Democrats here. bit.ly/4jIaTT7

Today's Trump v CASA SCOTUS ruling is a disgrace. It didn't settle the issue of birthright citizenship, but instead gave a present to a wannabe dictator. It ruled that federal district court judges do not have authority to impede the will of the executive. In essence it is a blank check on fascism.

Andor is great. I wonder if my love for it is greater because of the particular moment we are in. Where there are some willing to debate or ignore human rights abuses and genocide as politics as usual, while authoritarianism erodes more of what you thought was normal.
