The difference between being a pendant and being accurate is that I find it better to be clear about who the bad guys are so that innocent parties don't get shot in the drive by.

I'm not defending the leeches that are exploiting tenants and price gouging.
I'm saying that there are e.g. CICs and Community Benefit Societies that in legal terms are regarded as landlords and shouldn't be confused with the private rentier class.
Social housing providers are still landlords.

Not all organisations that fall into the general description of "landlord" are purely in it to profit.
