Not disputing the impact of climate change on the economy, just your math. The numbers you quote do not mean the impact of climate change on inflation is 80 times that of the carbon tax.

Ok, but that is not how the .15% impact of the carbon tax on inflation was calculated. If the inflation rate is 2.0% it would be 1.85% without this year’s carbon tax increase. So you still can’t say the impact of climate change is 80 times the impact of the carbon tax.

So an impact of 14% a year when inflation is 2%? How can that be? Would we have 12% annual deflation with no climate change?
