When it's so hot in the sun that you change tables, move the table and get sunburned. I've gotta start going out earlier or later--it was so bright I didn't see my phone's shadow on my sketchbook.

I had almost finished inking this (I got to the dog and people behind her) when the band finished and almost everyone got up and left! Between that and a pizza order waiting on us, I didn't try to capture the colors very realistically.

I had a few minutes while waiting for Katelyn at the Mudhouse, and I had the foresight of throwing a brush, toy watercolor palette and sketchbook in my work bag.

Went to one of the oldest standing churches in town to paint, but ended up painting this run-down house next door instead. #urbansketching
