Someone I read said that with Trump’s psychology, he expected him to act in more unhinged authoritarian ways the more he drops in the polls. It’s like dealing with an abuser, they yell the loudest and punch walls when they lose power but you have to call them out on their bullshit for them to stop.

Couldn’t agree more! The thing I get sick of the most on social media is all the doomerism. People either give up too easily or when good things do happen, they always focus all their energy looking for reasons why the good thing can’t last. It honestly feels like self sabotaging behavior.
