I meant boneless drumsticks

Their sudden popularity has nothing to do with cooking skills it relates to the increase in the cost of living. Boneless chicken thighs are lower in cost than chicken breasts. You also now see bonned drumsticks which are cheaper. So supermarkets are following the demand curve.

I know this is not the point of this post but surely "Boys from the Dwarf" is far better than the grimness of Blake's 7 struggle against the Federation.

All that glitters isn't gold

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder

One man's rubbish is another man's treasure

A fool and their money are soon parted

Nobody twists your arm. It's up to you if you want to pay the price they are asking.

What about suede?

Ultra high frequency wind? But you knew it was that and not some random cat?

I've done this the way you suggest but then someone else puts the happy birthday in the group chat. So then you have to put happy birthday again even though you've already sent the person the message direct. Otherwise you'd appear to others in the group that you do not care.

The Darleks and Davros attempts at universal domination was halted by a think shag pile carpet
October 1, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Greggs products are ok but their dominance has killed off loads of independent bakeries which offered better products and fresh bread. Sadly it's a case of "use it or lose it." When they're all gone there will be no choice and just Greggs bland products.

Johnny Ball and Floella Benjamin. I recognize a few others but can't remember their names .

Every morning, you must have fast growing toe nails! Beyond that then, although I'm a sceptic, I'd say that you need to speak to Danny Robins.

Totally agree. Cricket is possibly the only sport where you're ok with the other team winning. Well apart from Australia. You can dip in and out but still be in touch with the nuances of the game. A "few" drinks with friends beer snakes chased by stewards, people in fancy dress, the list goes on.

Billy mill roundabout. I've left out the Japanese bit as it's probably been removed now.

I could be wrong but a slipper piston is a piston with a short skirt rather than a long skirt. The skirt is the part of the piston that runs from the crown (top) to the bottom of the piston. Due to reduced weight they are used in high revving performance engines.
Which aspect do you prefer.

Your story doesn't make sense. If you'd simply discarded the excess ashes then maybe you should feel ashamed. But apparently you didn't and in a bizarre show of respect ate them.

A self appointed influencer is not someone you should trust. Even ones that are appointed (voted) should be treated with caution.
August 25, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Your level of self entitlement is staggering. Clearly nobody earned anything before you had to work for a living.
Also flawed logic. When they've been fleeced they won't have any money to pay for their social care which you'll begrudge. The money will also go to India so out of your economy?

Cheers. Passed it on to my wife. Very kind and thoughtful.
August 14, 2025 at 9:44 PM
I never really thought about it until my wife became unwell a couple of years ago. Now she has to plan any trip so she knows where to find a toilet. So it is a problem for the old, disabled and infirm. But they are easily ignored in this way and many other ways.

There is an assumption that every dwelling has a TV so they now question anywhere without a license. Let's hope it's not the case with guns any time soon.
I'm certainly not going to tell you how to live your life. Monthly direct debit works for me and stops me worrying if the license has run out.
August 14, 2025 at 6:33 PM
People begrudge paying the license fee but will happily pay streaming services for poor imported TV shows. Ironically they often show BBC shows. Or use fire sticks to bypass any payment. We live in a time when nobody wants to pay for anything but expects quality entertainment.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they did a section on why Women preferred M&S knickers. They then proceeded to do a test on the gussets of brands of knickers. The test was a rotating wheel with a scouring pad attached. Not sure on the accuracy of the test method but the M&S pair won.

There are good bands and talented solo artists out there but they've been stifled by Simon Cowell and others like him promoting their choice of singers and styles on TV shows and in the media.
