I’m actually ok with this, and I know that’s dangerous here. But Trump was going to use the shutdown to end the filibuster, and that really and truly would have ended democracy this far before mid terms. I’m a “live to fight the next battle too” kinda guy. I’m really open to hearing how wrong I am.
