Getting back to the things I enjoy without the client overhead. It’ll be a good year!

A new years resolution of mine is to make tools that feel more intuitive for artists and develop content that would help grow their skills so their jobs are more indispensable than they currently are..

..but on this path, JavaScript is testing these motivations real hard...

Over a year and a half ago I started working on doing some FX for this fan film. I specifically worked on the Jetpack & some Electricity FX. This morning it finally released to the public.

Any Dev/TD’s out there have any good practices for mentally stepping away from your work?

I’m constantly thinking about it, adding new features, fixing bugs, etc. I am excited about it.. but it feels like my normal methods aren’t holding me back from a potential burnout.
