I have a Chistmas Day plea. Whatever your view on LTNs please call out @paul0campbell.bsky.social when he resorts to abusive language to describe LTN opponents (see below). Follow the principled example @donnachadhmc.bsky.social, who backs LTNs, and call him out. It will make 2025 less toxic.

In my capacity as chair of the UK Noise Association I have written this 2 page blog assesing the implications for noise policy of the Harvard Study published last week which found links between noise, low income and health.

Good article in the Times showing that taking the bus can be as slow as going on foot for many journeys in London, despite fewer cars being on the roads. Bus speeds fell in all boroughs yet over that time the number of cars on the roads dropped by 5 per cent.
