Honest question.

Do you think we invented God as a supernatural dad because we were afraid of a dark and scary world?

Because we can’t see him.
He relies on word of mouth stories.
And statistically there would only be a few powerful stories to survive the ages.

It’s just a system of control. Tylenol will be banned and only available to people with insurance leaving the poor w/ advil. Advil can cause the PDA to close, affect kidneys etc which can cause miscarriage.

That’s it.

Just exerting control over women’s pain.

What in the name of MC Escher’s Ascending and Descending is going on with those weird ass cranes?

I wonder if it’s because they have official US government titles at the moment.

A cord of three, not easily broken.

The easy answer is “blers” stickers.

And every where there’s a Secretary of War…

Put a sticker at the end.

That’s it. That’s the tweet.

Once a pup is afraid of getting a swat from a spatula, it even fears the drawer.

And they will always be there.

Holding the quiet, diligent lights in the night, calling us home.

And those people are my heroes.

And always have been.

Good luck.

(You won’t need be a volleyball player or a special kind of hawk to find the next iteration. At least four services already have)

They obfuscate.

They divert.

They gather.

They glean.

They self teach.

Self rely.

And to steal a phrase, self rescue when need be.

They have no captain but seek the same thing: more good days.

Just a chance to live a few more days of freedom from whatever tyrant lurks next.

Those are the stories of the good strangers.

People just like you and me but who do impossible things. Who do them because those good and impossible things are what they want the fabric of the world to be.

Not bombs. Not hungry.

Joy. And peace. And safety. And love.

And they fight for it.

Where fairness isn’t a thing, because you don’t get second chances at navigating the unknown.

So they create their own systems. Knowledge ledgers passed from one to the next. Stories of how to survive alone, unaided, and at odds with whoever’s in charge.

And that brings us to the point here:

There are people in this world who thrive in ecosystems like that. Who move and live and work, and yes breath, in worlds where everything is watched and scrutinized and theorized about. Where system memories are eternal and mistakes are deadly.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
But some form of that future feels like it sits ready to emerge. And our movies and books (those paperstack things on grandmas self), the stories of our minds, tell us that some form of society will find a way to keep on on living in that ecosystem.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
The rules of society will become rigid and inflexible unless you have money at which point the powers that be will hold your mistakes it over you.

Privatization. Infighting. Arms sales. Monogamous polygamy.

Cats and dogs. Living together.

The point isn’t the monologue here.

They’ll tape their cameras. They’ll slip into societal functions where they don’t cause a stir, they don’t make noise and remain unseen. Words will be spoken in whispers behind waterfalls beside the ear because AI will have defeated the noise of a shower.

That world will become a new ecosystem.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
So this piece of technoubiquitous history unfolds at the cusp of AI and the emergence of the American Gestapo.

So to live and work and breath, people will adapt. They’ll cast off the integrated Ring doorbells wifi linked to their neighbors and choose something locally hosted.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Which sounds batshit.

But yeah not really anymore. The pieces seem in place to do just that. (See Thiels Antichrist thing).

Back to America doing its own thing. And while the oligarchal model may have been learned from russia, I doubt tech bros will want to stay under anyone’s thumb.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
And do their duty when he becomes incapacitated and launch a full investigation etc etc which will go which ever way.

All the while ushering in the full American techno-Christian-autocracy and back to those “American” values of treating women as breedstock, mandatory religion on and on.
August 30, 2025 at 5:02 PM
I think that’s probably best left to the imperfect legal system.

If I was Ukrainian perhaps I’d have a different opinion, but to their credit they’ve showed tremendous restraint against 3rd party players assisting russia.

I respect that they haven’t lost what makes them different from Russia.
