Checking out this place, haven't left the other one. Saved by grace.
Not a progressive, not a populist.

I don't post much, but I interact with lots of posts. Tired of craziness. Opinions and likes are my own.

They fired a 73 yr old national championship coach to hire a 72 yr old coach who is dating someone young enough to be his granddaughter.

Tom Brady isn't playing for UNC.

This has disaster written all over it.

Part is discipleship…our people mashed up conservative politics with the gospel. Fruit of the Conservative Resurgence. On the flip side, a lot that couldn’t stomach the politics left, especially during the Trump years.

I spent 2 years as a contractor for Coca-Cola a few years ago. Great experience. Great product…though I’ve switched to Coke Zero in recent years.

As I mentioned on the other site, we must be careful that any revival is about the gospel, not simply national renewal.

It's one thing to want the cultural positives of a Christianized society. It's a whole other thing to believe in the power of the cross.

God will share His glory with no man.

Same with right wing trolls and Ukraine.

Is it still possible to support both Israel and Ukraine, all while acknowledging that neither are perfect? That's where I am, and where I believe you are, too.

Like you, I'll never understand how Hamas can be the aggressor and generate world sympathy.

Or, when you're on the right and calling them out where they're wrong, they'll ask you to punch left.

Mike Cosper is experiencing this on the other site right now.

That business meeting is so Baptist. 😆

Our choir had white ones. They were high class. We just had to settle for the red.

Somewhere along the way we ended up with a white one from my wife's home church. I have a blue one from the SWBTS bookstore that was used as a worship textbook.

We used a red one growing up, but I have a blue one and a white one in my bookcase.

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
