I love Kelly Reichardt with all my heart - Showing Up is one of my faves - but Marie's issue with The Mastermind isn't entirely unjustified. It starts out as a relatively normal crime caper and only becomes a Kelly movie half way through. (Still loved it of course)

That's interesting you mention the psychological link between food and happiness and the problem of being constantly exposed to the source of the issue. Alcoholics battle with both these as well.
Big difference of course is that total abstinence is not an option for overeaters.
