What upsets me is that there are an overwhelming number of black artists who have the country sound but they get pushed into the Americana category, which isn’t a bad thing (I think that genre produces more authentic music), but no where near as popular as country. Highly reccomend finding “1984” and “Fahrenheit 451” if you can! Good books to really understand the potentials of what’s happening in the US.

I mean no offense by my statement! My point was yes, make the effort, even if at times it doesn’t seem necessary. I would tell you to go the kindle route, because it’s typically cheaper, but then you run the risk of it being inaccessible if a serious ban were to happen.

lol I’ve been cultivating my collection since highschool (during Obama) when a lot of this shit was starting. It never hurts to get them even if the risk of book banning ends is minimal or doesn’t happen, because you never know. It’s also just good regular reading lol.

I am also an army veteran, and I feel your pain friend. Take the time you need, but strengthen your resolve. Remember your oath to defend the American People and the Constitution, that never expires! Now more than ever is the time to fight, and who better than we, who have served?
